About Dental Sedation
Moderate sedation, enteral sedation and IV conscious
sedation can be administered safely and effectively in the
hands of an educated and experienced doctor. It is estimated
that 30% of people avoid the dentist due to fear and
anxiety. Oral sedation/conscious sedation provides a safe,
pleasant and comfortable experience for dental-phobic
patients to get the care they desire. Administration
guidelines can be tailored to the patient’s anxiety level
and significant history offering them an extremely
comfortable, relaxed and safe experience.

About the Dental ACLS
course.....
Just as your patients don't see a cardiologist for
endodontic procedures, you are not expected to diagnose
and treat acute coronary syndromes or complicated
arrhythmias. The primary goal of "ACLS for Dental
Professionals" is to empower you to react confidently and
competently to medical emergencies as they occur in your
practice.
We start all courses with the basics. A thorough CPR
program is incorporated into your conference. All aspects
of BCLS (CPR) including AED operation are covered
including ample time for practice. Challenging topics such
as ECG rhythm analysis are broken down into easy to
remember and apply formats. |
 |
Focus areas include:
Common medical emergencies, airway management,
bronchospasm, anaphylactic shock, vasovagal response,
heart attack and stroke, YEPP (your emergency
preparedness plan), your emergency care team, sedation
pharmacology, acls drugs and usage, sensible equipment
purchases, and so much more. |
